DK πŸ‡©πŸ‡° : In DK we have an established a voluntary company pension with a company called Grandhood. The Org will not contribute to your savings, though we do cover the monthly administrative fee. In this setup you contribute a min. of 3% of your monthly salary. If you choose to add life insurances like "loss of ability to work", health insurance, death insurance etc. you must contribute a min. of 5% of your monthly salary and the insurance costs will then be deducted from your Grandhood account automatically. US πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ : In the US we have voluntary 401K plan administered through Empower and TriNet our HR system and benefits provider. There is no upfront fee associated with joining instead an admin fee of $6 per quarter for participation. The Org does not contribute or match your savings. Every US employee is eligible to participate. You can set a side up to $19,500 a year in pre tax dollars - think of it as birthday presents for your future self! 🎁 You can make investment decisions yourself and if you sign up to participate but do not make any select you will automatically get assigned an investment category based on your age (risk appetite based on time until retirement).
