As a starting point, each employee has a $500 / DKK 3,250 yearly professional development budget to use on anything (books, workshops, classes, skills training, certifications, you name it!) that will make you more impactful in your role.

How to spend your professional development budget:

• Less than $500 / DKK 3,500 annually:
  • 🇩🇰 = Use your Pleo company card to purchase your item(s) - add “professional development” in the memo field when you submit your receipt. Slack the Finance team if you need your Pleo limit increased to make a purchase.
  • 🇺🇸 = Use your Brex company card to purchase your item(s) - add “professional development” in the memo field when you submit your receipt. Slack the Finance team if you need your Brex limit increased to make a purchase.
  • That’s it! No other approval required
• More than $500 / DKK 3,500 annually:
  • For professional development items and opportunities that cost more than $500 (such as classes), speak with your manager about your interest. We will fund these opportunities on a case-by-case basis, and may ask for a business case to better understand the benefits of the opportunity.
