Based in two offices - across an ocean, no less - we value travel’s ability to bring us together and keep us connected. In addition to employees and teams traveling for specific business needs, we have a couple annual occasions where much of our company travels. These company outings are opportunities to socialize, understand the unique cultures of our countries and offices, and deepen our relationships with each other.

• Gather (in NYC or CPH): Our company convenes in NYC or Copenhagen for a work trip about once each year
• Company Offsite: This is where the magic happens. We close our laptops and focus solely on bonding and connection, convening in an exotic destination to celebrate and socialize

Travel for business purposes should be coordinated with your team leader (and the hosting office) and booked in the CPH Office calendar when visiting Denmark. Please visit the CPH Travel Guide for information on travel to Copenhagen and hotel deals.

• The Org will cover all work-related travel expenses. This includes food, transport, and accommodation for the part of a trip that is work-related. Hence, if you decide to extend a work trip with a few days to explore a city on your own - which we absolutely recommend you to do - you'll have to cover those costs yourself.
• The Org can also cover one day before and one day after the work-related activities. For example, if you have an important meeting or a conference that starts early, you might want to fly out one day earlier.
• Please make sure to collect all receipts. Upload them to Pleo (if you're a DK employee), or Brex (if you're a US employees).
• The Org will not cover costs for friends or family.
